 to the didactic CE course Effective\, Non-Surgical Treatment of Periodonta
 l Disease for Dentists and Hygienists presented by Dr. Sternberg on Octobe
 r 30\, 2025 for the 9th*.  This course will be a clinical\, hands-on cours
 e with patients.  The participants will have an opportunity to improve the
 ir skills involving instrument sharpening\, instrument selection and scali
 ng techniques which will be discussed and demonstrated.  What will make it
  particularly valuable is the perioscope\, which will be demonstrated to a
 llow direct visualization of the calculus during scaling via an endoscope\
 , markedly improving outcomes.  This will demonstrate the effectiveness or
  ineffectiveness of the individual’s approach to scaling and root planing.
   Scaling techniques will be demonstrated\, and the participants will have
  an opportunity to utilize them on a patient in a supervised environment.T
 he course will be limited to ten clinicians.  If need be\, a second course
  will be available to accommodate more individuals.  The limitation is due
  to the desire to give every participant the opportunity to participate wi
 th hands-on scaling and root planing under supervision.  *A recording of t

  follow-up.
