Per the notice below, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued medication safety tips for older adults.

Whether you’re settling into your 60s or heading into your 90s, be careful when taking medicines, herbal preparations and supplements.

Why the special concern?  The older we get, the more likely we are to use more medicines.  That can increase the chance of harmful side effects and drug interactions.
