GAO Issues Report on DHA Handling Adverse Actions Against Health Care Providers

The United States Government Accountability Office (GAO) has issued a report on the Defense Health Agency (DHA) handling adverse actions against health care providers, including dentists, providing military health care. GAO found that DHA didn't always report adverse actions within the required 30-day timeframe and had not set timeliness standards for other steps in this process, such as legal reviews and appeals meetings. NY-9DDS WEB: "Addendum to the Amended New York State Mandated Child Abuse Training Course"

February 05, 2026 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Only those who have taken the Part I Update are eligible to take the Addendum rather than the full course. You must, therefore, call HQs with your credit card information (914-747-1199) to register. The addendum to the 2025 Updated Mandated Reporter Training in Identifying and Reporting Child Abuse and Maltreatment/Neglect is an additional license requirement for licensed professionals in New York State. This 1/2 hour webinar can only be taken by those who took Part 1 of the Updated mandate through the 9th, so MUST be registered for by calling or emailing the office. This course meets the curriculum requirements for the Mandated Reporter Training that all licensed professionals are required to complete before November 17, 2026.
