NYSDOL Conducting Annual Business Survey

Apr 19, 2024

Per the notice below, the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) is conducting its annual business survey to help address workforce needs.

We Are Your DOL - New York State Department of Labor

We again need your expertise.  For the past three years we have worked to survey thousands of businesses on their challenges and real-time needs in the post-COVID world of work.  The results continue to shape workforce development practices, policy, and programs across New York State.  Last year we secured more funding for teacher residency programs and developed new apprenticeships to help address survey results that suggested businesses were struggling most with hiring and retaining skilled workers.  We also launched a digital literacy initiative and expanded no-cost online learning with Coursera.  These are just a few examples of how your answers help create our solutions.

This year, we are again partnering with The Business Council, Empire State Development, and the New York Association of Training and Employment Professionals and are asking you to participate in our annual Business Survey so we can gather real-time feedback on the state of the workforce and your current needs so we can help address them.  Please take approx. 10 minutes to tell us where you're struggling, the skills your business is looking for, and how we can point resources toward real solutions.

Click the button above or follow this link to help shape workforce policy: https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/7804738/2024-Business-Workforce-Survey.
