The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1500 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

In its quest to serve both the public and the profession, the Ninth District embodies the highest ideals.

NYSDOL and WCB Holding Webinars on Employment Law Compliance

Per the notice below, the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) and the New York State Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) are holding free joint Webinars for employers on employment law compliance.

The New York State Department of Labor and the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board are pleased to announce two new joint Webinars to educate workers about critical rights and protections.  Each Webinar provides essential information on important labor-related topics, including rules and requirements on minimum wage, overtime, wage payment, child labor, workers’ compensation, disability benefits, and Paid Family Leave, as well as anti-discrimination laws and other worker protections.  The Department of Labor strives to ensure that all workers understand their rights under the law.  We encourage business owners and employees to take advantage of these Webinars to stay informed of their protections while on the job.
