The Ninth District Dental Society was formed in 1909 and renamed to the Ninth District Dental Association in 2002. We have a membership of over 1500 dentists in 5 counties: Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange and Putnam.

In its quest to serve both the public and the profession, the Ninth District embodies the highest ideals.

The mission of the 9^th District Dental Association is to serve and support its members and the public by improving the oral health of our community through Advocacy, Continuing Education and Camaraderie.

HHS Holding Webinar on $2 Drug List Model

Per the notice below, the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is holding a free Webinar on the proposed Medicare Part D $2 Drug List Model.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) invites you to a Webinar about an important new step the Biden-Harris Administration is taking to lower the costs of health care and prescription drugs for Americans. This discussion will take place tomorrow, Thursday, October 10 at 12:30 pm ET over Zoom.

Today, HHS, through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), released a Request for Information (RFI) and a sample list of prescription drugs that the agency preliminarily intends to include under the proposed Medicare $2 Drug List Model. You can read more about this model here, which was developed in accordance with President Biden’s Executive Order on “Lowering Prescription Drug Costs for Americans”. On this Webinar, leadership from the White House and HHS will discuss today’s announcement and how it fits into the Administration’s lower costs agenda. We will be joined by leadership from AARP who will discuss the impact of high prescription drug prices on older Americans.
