Cybersecurity Awareness Month Resources for Covered Entities
Public health and health care entities are facing cybersecurity and other attacks that threaten the privacy and security of health information. In February 2024, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) released a comprehensive cybersecurity resource guide on implementing the Security Rule along with a list of cybersecurity resources for HIPAA-regulated entities.
The plethora of workplace legal protections are just a few signifiers that the workspace we enter, whatever that looks like, has long been in desperate need of wellness reforms. The question that organizations and leaders must ask themselves is: have their efforts to create the conditions to support wellness resulted in the kind of radical change that is required to really institutionalize wellness at work?
